By adding Lock Cores (2 pack required for each carrier), you can secure the carrier to a crossbar and the bike to the carrier. An easy-to-grip handle with push button operation on the front wheel hook of the swingarm. It is true you need to get up high-enough to set the bike and secure the front wheel, but depending on the height of the vehicle and size of the user, the operation is usually manageable with one person.
